Large Luxury Villa with heated pool for 2-8 people

The lounge has an enormous arched window with doors onto a large side garden. The room has a light and open feeling, it is very comfortably furnished and has under-floor heating as well as log fire. There is a 42" LCD TV, Sky with UK channels, DVD & iPod link to the high quality sound system.  The room has very high ceilings with beautiful original beams, a magnificent large stone fireplace and a stone spiral staircase leading to the Mezzanine.

The dining room seats up to 10 people at a beautiful antique oak table and has French doors straight out to the covered terrace and rear garden. Right next to the kitchen this is generally the busiest room!

Outside, the covered stone-paved terrace has a built-in barbecue with chimney and preparation area, table, chairs and sunloungers. Beyond, there is a large private garden with views over the fields.

Separate sunloungers and parasols are provided by the 12m x 6m solar heated swimming pool a short way from the villa (max 50m) shared occasionally if the owner's private house is occupied. The pool area is enclosed and has a child-proof gate.

A well equipped kitchen includes cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. Separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. Whirleygig for outside drying.

Two luxurious fully tiled spacious bathrooms (one en-suite to main bedroom) each with large bath, separate shower and twin wash basins plus separate WC just off main entrance hall.

All bedrooms have plenty of space and two have French doors onto the gardens. All have wonderfully high ceilings and exposed beams to keep things cool, and lavenders grow under the windows to remind you of the lovely climate here.

Bedroom 1 - A lovely big room with king size bed, large walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. French doors give access to the courtyard with its beautiful lime trees at the front and at the rear, a large private garden with open fields beyond.

Bedroom 3 - twin with window onto the rear garden.
Bedroom 4 - queen size bed(convertible to twin beds). Large fitted wardrobe and window to the rear garden.

Cot, highchair and baby listeners available.

Other than stepped front and rear terraces and two steps from dining room to lounge, the villa is on one level throughout.

The villa is thoroughly cleaned weekly and bed linen, household linen, towels and beach towels are provided and laundered weekly.

Resident English Estate Managers are on hand if needed for local information, restaurant recommendations (or table bookings if your French is a bit rusty), help with any little problems that might arise......

Le Grand Theuillac is spacious, light and clean.

Although the house comfortably accommodates eight people, it equally suits smaller groups. We very often have 2 adults plus 2 children, sometimes with Grandparents coming for a few days.

Additional services (some seasonal)

Daily deliveries of fresh bread, shopping to order, occasional meals, babysitting.  Local caterers provide meals either fully serviced or 'ready to go'.
