"What a fabulous place – a gorgeous big house, well located, in a really lovely peaceful setting. Many villas we have rented have been full of the owners’ belongings so we really liked staying here because it’s a proper holiday villa. We have NEVER stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean, and it was so well merchandised that we wanted for nothing (oh, except a potato masher!) It made a nice change to find all those useful bits and pieces in the kitchen cupboards like salt & pepper, oil, herbs, washing up liquid and so on. It was a treat to have IRONED cotton bedding and the daily bread deliveries were a real bonus- the children loved coming across to put their orders in for pains au chocolat and croissants! We loved it and we’ll definitely be back – maybe we should get some Boules practice in the meantime! "
